Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and scope
Welcome to Moriaki Web Apps. Your digital confidentiality is our highest priority. This document outlines the types of personal information collected by our platform and our commitment to data security. We operate with a transparency-first mindset, ensuring that every user understands how their information is handled. By using our suite of tools, you consent to the practices described here. As security standards evolve, we continuously update our protocols to remain compliant with international law. This policy applies to all visitors, registered users, and organizations that interface with our web applications. To learn more about our philosophy, please visit our About page.
2. Zero-Retention framework: local processing
Moriaki Web Apps operates on a Zero-Retention framework. Our PDF features use client-side technology powered by JavaScript, running entirely within your browser. Unlike cloud-based converters, your documents are processed inside your browser’s sandbox, far from external prying eyes. This technical infrastructure is designed to prevent data leaks before they can even occur.
- No file uploads: your sensitive files never leave your computer. This is the core of our local-first philosophy — no third party, including ourselves, can intercept your content.
- Immediate memory purge: data remains in temporary volatile memory only during the active session. Once the computation is complete and the tab is closed, the memory is cleared by the browser automatically.
- Data sovereignty: we do not extract metadata, we do not monitor your file names, and we do not create hidden backups. This ensures 100% sovereignty for legal professionals, medical workers, and corporate users who value information security.
3. Google AdSense, advertising partners & cookies
To keep our tools free and accessible to everyone, we partner with third-party advertising networks, primarily Google AdSense. These partners may use cookies to serve relevant ads based on your visit to this and other websites. Advertisements allow us to maintain server stability, pay for our high-speed CDN, and invest in new technologies for the community.
- Google DoubleClick DART cookie: Google uses cookies to serve ads based on user interests. This “interest-based advertising” helps deliver a more personalized ad experience.
- Third-party vendors: other ad networks may also use cookies or web beacons to measure the effectiveness of their campaigns. We do not have access to or control over these cookies used by third-party advertisers.
- User control: you can disable or selectively turn off cookies in your browser settings. To manage advertising preferences globally, visit the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out page.
4. Log files and analytical data
Moriaki Web Apps follows a standard procedure of using log files. This information includes IP addresses, browser types, Internet Service Providers (ISPs), and date/time stamps. This data is never linked to any personally identifiable information, keeping you anonymous. These records are essential for cybersecurity monitoring and for ensuring the platform remains stable under high traffic loads.
5. Global data rights: GDPR & LGPD
We are fully committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD). We believe every user is entitled to the highest level of protection, regardless of their geographic location.
- The right to access: you can request copies of any minimal personal data we may hold (such as support emails or contact forms).
- The right to erasure: also known as the “right to be forgotten,” you can request that we delete your contact records from our support database.
- The right to rectification: you can request that we correct any information you believe is inaccurate.
- The right to object: you can object to our processing of your data for specific analytical purposes.
Because our web apps do not upload or store your PDF files, we hold no “user document data” to be accessed or deleted. Your files remain under your exclusive control at all times.
6. Policy updates and security safeguards
We may update our security protocols and this document from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements or operational practices. We encourage users to check this page frequently. Your continued use of the service after any change constitutes acceptance of that change. We implement a variety of security measures to protect your personal information when you contact us, and our infrastructure is periodically audited to ensure our local processing remains sound.
7. Contact
Transparency is the foundation of Moriaki Web Apps. If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy, or wish to exercise any of your statutory rights, please contact us. For technical issues or feature requests, refer to our tools and support pages. We are dedicated to providing a prompt response to all privacy-related questions.
